Job title: Customer Advisor
Hours: Full time - 12hr shift pattern
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £18,500 plus bonus (£925 on target)
In these unusual times, our advisors have become even more important to our customers. By keeping the country connected, they’ve helped families stay in touch and children be entertained. They’re classed as key workers for good reason.
We’re looking for confident people with a natural instinct to help. People who give it their all, where no challenge is too big, no ask too great. Naturals when it comes to making conversation and at their best when thinking on their feet. As one of our customer advisors, your unflappable nature and personal approach will give our customers the confidence you’ll get right to the root of their problem.
Our advisors deal with people from all walks of life every single day, so you’ll need to be able to build rapport with customers quickly, speak clearly and listen intently whilst working out how to solve problems to keep our customers happy.
The first point of contact for our customers, this is a role for the cool, calm and collected. All around the world people depend on our products and services, so when things go wrong it can have a serious impact on people’s everyday lives. This means you’ll face plenty of challenges, from frustrated and upset customers to unexpected issues, so you’ll need lots of patience and genuine empathy, but you’ll also be the one who puts a smile back on our customers’ faces. Again and again and again.
We’re currently recruiting advisors for our 12 hour shifts, working on a 2 week rotating pattern, see below. They’re long days, but many people prefer this pattern because you get more time off during the week and you’re also guaranteed to get a full weekend off every other week.
